    Debbie has spent too long couped up in doors recuperating, it was time to hit the open road again. Labour Day long weekend was the perfect opportunity and this time we headed south. We had recently watched the movie Rams which, having lived in rural Devon in the UK for the tail end and the aftermath of Foot And Mouth, was very poignant. Quite by chance, not design we spent the weekend in and around Mount Barker where the film was shot.

    Proof that the sun does not always shine, a rare cloudy day in WA.

  • We took the 4×4 for a road trip over Christmas.

    A little round trip of approx. 2500 klms. in just over a week. The Patrol proved to be a comfortable ride but a bit more thirsty on the fuel than we had been used to. The Shothole Canyon confirmed its 4×4 credentials and even when I deliberately got bogged in soft sand managed to free itself with ease.
